Fitment: Model Y Juniper (2025-2026) · Full Model Y Juniper fitment guide

White Tesla Model Y parked in front of green foliage

The 2025 Model Y refresh — Juniper — changed almost every surface an accessory touches. Footwells, cargo floor, frunk tub, roof glass structure, console, and the center display. That is why nothing made for a 2020-2024 Model Y should be assumed to fit yours, and why it is worth spending two minutes on this page before you order anything.

Buildings reflected in a parked car windshield in bright sun

1. Buy first

JOWUA windshield sunshade

JOWUA

The highest-value accessory for any Tesla and the cheapest thing on this page. Cut to shape with a claimed 99% UV block, and it addresses the parked-heat problem that is the most noticeable thing about owning any glass-roofed car in summer. It only works while parked.

Best for: Anyone who parks outside — the highest-value shade you can buy

Fits: Model Y Juniper (2025-2026) · Model Y L (2026+, six-seat) · Model Y (2020-2024) · Model 3 Highland (2024-2026) · Model 3 (2017-2023)

Build8.5
Value9.5
Overall9.0/ 10 — our editorial score, not a lab test

What works

  • Solves the actual parked-heat problem — the windshield is the biggest single heat aperture in the car
  • Far cheaper than a roof shade and takes fifteen seconds to deploy
  • Cut to shape, so there is no gap at the corners where a universal shade leaves one

What does not

  • Only works while parked, unlike a roof shade which works while driving
  • Has to be stowed somewhere when you drive off

Manufacturer specifications

  • Black mesh fabric with a silver anti-light coating
  • Manufacturer claims up to 99% UV blocking
  • Cut to the specific windshield shape; listed for Juniper and Model Y L

Specifications as published by the manufacturer. We have not independently tested this product.

BASENOR 4-piece center console organizer set

BASENOR

Four TPU pieces, no adhesive, and they fix the one part of the car you touch on every drive. TPU damps the vibration that makes rigid organizers rattle. Four pieces means four edges to fit, and soft TPU marks more easily.

Best for: Juniper and Highland owners reorganizing the whole console in one go

Fits: Model Y Juniper (2025-2026) · Model 3 Highland (2024-2026)

Rattle9.5
Capacity8.5
Access9.0
Value9.0
Overall9.1/ 10 — our editorial score, not a lab test

What works

  • TPU absorbs vibration where rigid ABS transmits it, which is the single biggest cause of console rattle
  • The hidden armrest compartment is the piece that actually changes how you use the car day to day
  • One set covers every surface in the console instead of leaving gaps between parts

What does not

  • Four pieces means four opportunities for a slightly loose edge
  • Soft TPU picks up marks more readily than a hard plastic tray

Manufacturer specifications

  • Four pieces: console tray, armrest storage box, armrest hidden storage and a cup-holder insert mat
  • TPU rather than ABS
  • Listed for the 2025-2026 Model Y Juniper and 2024-2026 Model 3 Highland

Specifications as published by the manufacturer. We have not independently tested this product.

3. Buy third

3W full-coverage TPE liner kit

3W

Full-coverage TPE across footwells, frunk, cargo floor, sub-trunk and seat backs, and it beat both 3D MAXpider and WeatherTech on fit in an independent Juniper comparison. The seat-back pieces are the weakest part of the kit.

Best for: Juniper owners who want the densest TPE and the widest coverage

Fits: Model Y Juniper (2025-2026) · Model 3 Highland (2024-2026)

Fit9.0
Coverage9.5
Material8.5
Cleanability8.5
Value8.5
Overall8.8/ 10 — our editorial score, not a lab test

What works

  • The broadest single-kit coverage we found for the Juniper, seat backs included
  • Came out ahead of both MAXpider and WeatherTech on fit in one independent Juniper comparison

What does not

  • A newer name than WeatherTech or MAXpider, so there is less long-run evidence of how the material ages
  • Seat-back pieces are a nice extra but are not as well finished as dedicated seat-back protectors

Manufacturer specifications

  • TPE throughout, described by the manufacturer as a higher-density compound than entry-level sets
  • Kit covers footwells, frunk, cargo floor, sub-trunk and seat backs
  • Separate part numbers per Model Y generation

Specifications as published by the manufacturer. We have not independently tested this product.

Every category, for this car

The one thing that trips up Juniper owners

Screen size. Tesla fits two different center displays on this generation: 15.4 inches on RWD and AWD, and 16 inches at 2560 x 1440 on Premium and Performance, which also get an 8-inch rear screen. Your model year will not tell you which you have. Confirm the trim from your Tesla account order details before buying a screen protector, and read screen sizes by generation if you want the full table.

What changed from the 2020-2024 car

Legacy to Juniper, by what it affects
ChangeAffects
Redesigned footwellsFloor mats — legacy sets do not sit flat
Deeper frunk tubFrunk organizers — a Juniper part may stop a legacy hood closing, and vice versa
Reshaped cargo floorCargo liners, trunk organizers, sub-floor bins
New roof glass structure and trim channelRoof sunshades — clip positions do not line up
Redesigned consoleConsole trays and armrest inserts
Center display 15 in to 15.4 or 16 inScreen protectors
Full-width light bars, ambient cabin lightingNothing functional — but they are how you identify the car

A sensible first order

If you have just taken delivery and want one order rather than five, buy a windshield shade, a console organizer set and a full-coverage mat kit. That is the three purchases that change how the car feels day to day, and it leaves the optional comfort items — roof shade, sill trim, screen protector — for later when you know whether you actually want them. The full argument is in the Juniper first-accessories guide.

Questions people actually ask

How do I know if I have a Juniper?

The full-width light bar across the front. The 2020-2024 Model Y has separate headlights and no bar. The ambient light strip inside the cabin is the second check.

Will any 2020-2024 Model Y accessories fit?

Very few of the shaped ones. Soft, shape-agnostic items like insulated bags and collapsible organizers transfer; molded liners, roof shades, frunk organizers and console trays do not.

What screen does my Juniper have?

15.4 inches on RWD and AWD. 16 inches at 2560 x 1440 on Premium and Performance, which also have an 8-inch rear screen. Check your order details — the model year will not tell you.

What should I buy first?

A windshield sunshade. It is the cheapest accessory here and the one you notice most, every hot day.
