Model Y Juniper (2025-2026)
The complete accessory path for a 2025-2026 Model Y Juniper, across all six categories.
Fitment
Answer that first and most accessory mistakes stop being possible. This is the page the rest of the site hangs off.

Tesla does not do model years the way the rest of the industry does. There is no annual refresh cycle and no announcement when a part changes — production simply switches over, sometimes mid-year, and the car that leaves the factory in February is not always the car that left in November. That is why “fits Tesla Model Y” on a product listing is close to meaningless, and why a reader who buys on the strength of it ends up with a driver's mat that sits proud of the dead pedal or a screen protector cut for a display 0.4 inches smaller than theirs.
There are five generations that matter for interior accessories. Two are Model 3: the original 2017–2023 car, including its 2021 interior update, and the 2024 Highland refresh. Three are Model Y: the original 2020–2024 car, the 2025 Juniper refresh, and the stretched six-seat Model Y L that reached the United States in July 2026. Every recommendation on this site is tied to one of those five, and nothing is recommended across a body change on the strength of the model name alone.
Four things move, and they are the four things accessories attach to. The footwell shape changed with both the Juniper and the Highland, which is why a mat cut for the older car will not lie flat in the newer one. The cargo floor and frunk tub were redesigned on the Juniper, making the frunk deeper and the sub-trunk well a different shape, so organizers and liners are generation-specific. The console was rebuilt on both refreshes — a sliding lid, a different tray depth and a new wireless-charging pad — so inserts and trays rarely carry over. And the screen changed size, which is the detail most often got wrong because it varies by trim as well as by year.
The screen is worth dwelling on. A 2025 Model Y RWD has a 15.4-inch display. A 2025 Model Y Performance has a 16-inch display at a different aspect ratio. Same model, same year, same badge on the trunk, two incompatible screen protectors. A listing that says “2025 Model Y” and nothing else is a coin flip, and it is the single most common accessory return in this category. Our screen sizes by generation page lays out every combination.
Open the driver's door and read the jamb sticker: it gives the manufacture month and year, which is the only date that reliably tells you which generation you have. Registration documents show the model year, and the two do not always agree. Inside the car, Controls then Software shows the model and often the trim. For the Model Y specifically, the exterior gives it away instantly — a full-width front light bar means Juniper, separate headlight units mean 2020–2024.
Once you know, pick your generation below. Each fitment page lists what changed on that car, what screen it has, which accessory categories have genuine options for it, and — where this is the honest answer — which categories do not yet.

Look at the lights. The 2025 refresh put a full-width light bar across the front and a reflected light bar across the rear; the 2020-2024 car has separate headlight units and conventional tail lights. Inside, the Juniper has a ventilated front-seat option, a redesigned console and ambient lighting the earlier car never had. If you are buying from a listing rather than standing next to the car, the build date on the driver's door jamb sticker settles it — anything built from January 2025 is a Juniper.
Usually not. The refresh changed the footwell shape, the cargo floor, the frunk tub, the console geometry and the roof glass structure. Floor mats, frunk organizers, console inserts and roof sunshades all have to be bought for the specific generation. A handful of things do carry over — some cup-holder inserts and a few universal storage bins — but treat carry-over as the exception you verify rather than the default you assume.
The 2020-2024 Model Y and the 2017-2023 Model 3 use a 15-inch display. The Model 3 Highland and the Juniper Model Y in RWD and AWD trim use a 15.4-inch display. Model Y Premium and Performance, and the Model Y L, use a 16-inch display at 2560 x 1440. The Highland also adds an 8-inch rear screen the earlier Model 3 does not have. Screen protectors are the one category where trim matters more than model year, so check the trim and not just the badge.
They share design language and some parts of the console, which is why a few console organizers are sold as fitting both. They are not the same car. Footwell dimensions, the trunk well and the seat-back surfaces differ, so mats, cargo liners and kick protectors are generation-specific even where a console insert is not. We cover the overlap honestly on the console-organizer fitment page rather than treating dual-fit claims as proof.
The six-seat Model Y L reached the United States in July 2026, and its aftermarket is still thin. Its longer wheelbase, third row and captain's-chair second row mean the rear floor, cargo floor and seat backs are all unique, so a standard Model Y part is a guess rather than a fit. Each category on this site carries a short, honest fitment note for the L saying what genuinely exists for it and what does not yet, instead of pointing you at a five-seat part and hoping.
Open the driver's door and look at the sticker on the door jamb — it carries the manufacture month and year. In the car, the software shows the model and sometimes the trim under Controls, then Software. Both are more reliable than the model year on a registration document, because Tesla's production changes do not line up neatly with calendar years.
