About
Why this site only covers two cars
Accessory listings say “fits Model Y.” Tesla has shipped five meaningfully different Model Y and Model 3 interiors. That gap is the whole reason this site exists.
Frunk & Flow is an independent publication about interior accessories for the Tesla Model Y and Model 3. It is published by MadGrey LLC and written by Brijon M.. It is not affiliated with Tesla, it does not sell anything, and it does not accept payment from brands.
The problem it was built around
Buy a floor mat set for a Tesla and the listing will usually say “Model Y.” That phrase covers a car sold in 2020 and a car sold in 2026, and those two cars have different footwells, different cargo floors, different frunk tubs, different consoles and different screens. Sellers know this — the better ones maintain separate collections per year range — but the product title does not say it, and a buyer who reasonably trusts the title ends up with a driver's mat that sits proud of the dead pedal.
That single structural failure is the thing this site is organized around. Every page here is tied to one of 5 specific generations, and nothing is recommended across a body change on the strength of the model name. If a part genuinely fits two generations, we say which two and why. If nothing good exists yet for a generation — which is the honest answer for the Model Y L right now — we say that too rather than pointing you at a five-seat part and hoping.
What it covers, and what it deliberately does not
The scope is narrow on purpose. 91 pages across 6 categories and 5 generations, drawn from 67 researched products. The categories are:
- Floor Mats & Liners — Footwell liners, cargo liners and mud flaps, split by Model Y and Model 3 generation so a 2023 part never ends up in a 2025 car.
- Sunshades — Glass-roof, windshield and side-window shades by generation, including the Juniper and Model Y L roof patterns that legacy shades do not fit.
- Screen Protectors — Screen protectors by display size, with Tesla's own owner's-manual warning stated up front and the 15 / 15.4 / 16-inch fitment split explained.
- Console Organizers — Console trays, armrest inserts, cup-holder fixes and under-seat boxes, split by generation because the console was redesigned twice.
- Frunk & Trunk Storage — Frunk organizers, trunk bins, under-floor storage and frunk coolers by generation, with the rigid-versus-soft rattle trade-off explained.
- Interior Protection — Door sill protectors, seat-back kick mats, vent covers and trunk-sill guards by generation, with an honest view of what actually wears.
What it does not cover, and will not: the Model S, Model X, Cybertruck or Semi; wheels, tires, wraps, spoilers or anything else on the outside of the car; charging hardware; performance modifications; dashcams and software. Those are all legitimate subjects and there are sites that do them well. Covering them here would cost the thing that makes this site worth reading — the ability to tell you that a 2025 Model Y RWD takes a 15.4-inch screen protector while a 2025 Model Y Performance takes a 16-inch one.
Who writes it
Brijon M. is the hands-on owner behind MadGrey LLC, the independent publisher of Frunk & Flow. He built this site around a single frustration: accessory listings say “fits Model Y” when Tesla has shipped five meaningfully different Model Y and Model 3 interiors, and the wrong year means the wrong part. Frunk & Flow covers nothing but Model Y and Model 3 accessories, organized by the generation they actually fit. Every recommendation is independent — we earn a commission when you buy through our links, and we publish what we can and cannot verify about each pick. Reach him at contact@frunkandflow.com.
That is the complete claim set, and it is worth being explicit about what is not in it. There is no technician certification here, no engineering background, no count of years spent owning these cars and no list of products installed in a garage. Those things were not supplied, so they are not claimed. A bio that invents them is the easiest thing on a site like this for a competitor or a Google quality rater to falsify, and it would undermine every honest sentence around it.
What we have not done
We do not lab-test these products and we do not claim to have physically installed every item we list. The specifications on this site are the manufacturer's published claims, linked to the page they came from. The scores are editorial judgments about fitment scope, published materials and coverage breadth — reasoning you can read and disagree with, not measurements. Where genuine first-hand experience with a product exists, it appears as a marked note on that specific page and nowhere else.
That paragraph is the most important one on this site. There are competing pages in this category claiming a product testing lab while also reviewing patio furniture. We cannot out-signal that on testing claims and we are not going to fake one. What we can do is tell you where every fact came from, tell you what we have not touched, and be willing to tell you not to buy something — including on the pages where we would earn a commission if you did. Our methodology page sets out the criteria in full.
How it makes money
Affiliate commission, and nothing else. When you buy through a link here, the retailer pays us a small percentage at no extra cost to you. Frunk & Flow is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
No brand has ever paid to appear on this site, to rank higher once it did, or to have a downside removed from its review. Commission rates play no part in the ordering of any page — where a cheaper product is the better buy, it is the pick, and we link to Tesla's own store and to brand-direct stores in places where we earn nothing at all, labeled as such. The full detail is on the affiliate disclosure page.

Corrections are the most useful mail we get. These cars change without announcement and a page that was right in October can be wrong by March, so if something here is out of date or simply wrong, tell us — we correct material errors in place with a dated note rather than editing quietly. The editorial policy explains how that works.
